EMDR Training Scholarship - Applications Closed

The Be It! Foundation is proud to announce Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Basic Training

In an effort to increase access to vital trauma-informed care resources in South Texas, we are currently seeking partial or full scholarship applicants for our inaugural EMDR training.


Indicate how much you will be able to contribute to the cost of the training and whether you will be attending in person or virtually. The Be It Foundation will cover the remaining amount of your tuition and the 10 necessary consultation hours for the Basic Training Certificate for up to 20 licensed or sponsored professionals who meet the application criteria.

Course Details:

Weekend I October 15 - 17
Weekend II October 22 - 24


Application Criteria:

  • Submit a complete applicationAttend all 6 full day trainings either in person or virtually.  
  • Pay it forward by offering pro bono EMDR Therapy to those in need.
  • Complete the necessary consultation hours.
  • Comply with the EMDRIA requirements for training and certification (include the link here) 
  • Be willing to consider becoming an EMDR Consultant Provide a statement about EMDR to be used in marketing and media materials.      
  • EMDR Training awardees will be invited to The Be It Foundation Awards Gala Summer 2021.

Worldwide Trainer Rachel Erwin, LMFT - Institute of Mind Body Integration

Rachel Erwin has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Pacific Institute in Santa Barbara. As an EMDR trainer, she works extensively with this technique which is recognized as an evidence-based treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder by the World Health Organization.
