Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the long-term well-being of people who do not have access to basic resources, education or quality mental health care in South Texas.  We provide the resources and support necessary to help individuals build their leadership capacity and achieve their goals while contributing to the wellbeing of their communities.

  1. Be It! Scholars--Higher Education, scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies
  2. Be It! Advanced Practice Clinical Leadership Fellowships--Pay-it-forward grants for professional development (matching grants, and 5 year fellowship program)
  3. Emergency assistance for food, shelter, and basic needs.
  4. You Matter Campaign--Wellness education and mental health stigma prevention

Our amazing team is committed to growing a biosphere of wellbeing in our South Texas communities. We take our convictions and turn them into action.  Nothing changes without a comprehensive strategy from working with individuals, community engagement, educating providers, fostering networks and coalitions, organizational and policy change

Upcoming Events

Join us! The Be It! Foundation is hosting its first 1st Golf Tournament! Every swing carries hope, generosity, and the power to change lives. Join us at Northern Hills Golf Course for a day of community, compassion, and impact. All proceeds will provide scholarships and grants for mental health clinicians and college students in South Texas. Registration is $150 per player or $500 per team of four. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses, organizations, and community supporters who want to help make a meaningful difference.
